Same-Day Heating Oil Delivery Policy Update

This 2015 winter, Hillside will be implementing a new policy. Any requests for delivery on the day the order is placed may be subject to a same-day delivery charge of $50, assuming we can accommodate the request. With the cost of fuel and maintaining oil delivery trucks, we need to logically route our delivery drivers as best as possible. The drivers leave Hillside with a route planned for the day and all of the gallons onboard are accounted for. Squeezing in additional deliveries will require reloading of the truck and most likely overtime hours for the delivery driver.

If you or someone you know is a call-in customer, please try to order heating oil when you are at a quarter of a tank. We here at Hillside like to say, “When you are on a quarter, order.” We are doing our best to get this message out before it gets and stays cold, so please spread the word if you know anyone this may affect.

Running low on heating oil can always be avoided if you are on Hillside’s automatic fill program. It is a free program, and the cost of the oil is the same. Unlike other companies in the area, Hillside does NOT charge more for the service of automatic delivery.
