Mark your calendar, Saturday October 19, 2013. PAWS for People is holding the 5th annual Wag-n-Walk at Glasgow Park on Route 40 in Bear. PAWS for People provides elders, children, and people with disabilities therapeutic visits with gentle, affectionate pets. PAWS is one of the best, local organizations ever formed. All information about PAWS and how to get involved with them and the Wag-n-Walk can be found HERE.

Please come out, support PAWS, enjoy a great day outside around other animal lovers, and join Hillside and Charlie the Dog in helping make a difference. Hillside’s best friend Charlie the Dog will be there. If you have not met The Dog yet, this is a perfect opportunity!

Abby Adams and Bam at Fair Hill This Weekend

Hillside Heating & Cooling is a proud sponsor of Abby Adams and her horse Alabama Slammer, AKA Bam. Abby and Bam are competing this weekend in Fair Hill.  The two work as a team in what is known as Eventing. Eventing is an “equestrian triathlon” which combines the three disciplines of Dressage, Cross Country, and Stadium Jumping. Abby and Bam will be competing at the USEA/USEF Recognized Horse Trials this weekend. spectators are welcome, encouraged, and appreciated! Come show your support for Abby while spending an enjoyable day outdoors in beautiful Fair Hill, Maryland!

If you see Abby, say hello, but do not make her nervous. She is concerned with the competition. She seems to believe that her stiffest competition is 2 small children…one in the front and one in the back of a horse costume. Sounds silly, but Eventing is very serious.
