Are you reading this from the comfort of your warm and cozy home? Are you taking an “Adult Snow Day”? Snow has always been the final sign that the cold weather is here to stay for a while. If you have not checked your heating oil tank yet this season, be sure to get a reading. Once the snowfall comes regularly, deliveries may be delayed due to driving and plow conditions. If you expect an oil delivery, please ensure a path and/or access to your tank or heating oil tank fill for your delivery driver. Be careful not to cover the heating oil fill pipe you may have removed from your driveway with snow. If you are on automatic delivery, rest assured that Hillside will not allow you to run low. Our amazing dispatcher, Mark, monitors the upcoming weather forecasts and creates our delivery routes, knowing where we can and cannot reach during snowy conditions.
