Cecil County Fair Recap The 2018 Cecil County Fair is over. We battled torrential rains, muddy fields, and canceled activities. However, that didn’t stop us from meeting wonderful people and making new friends.
The stage is set for making memories at the Cecil County Fair. We are ready to let the good times roll at our Hillside HVAC booth!

The sound of trucks rolling into the fairgrounds and people bustling around to ready the park for visitors promises that the week ahead will be filled with good times at the Cecil County Fair – an event we look forward to every year!
Step right up, folks! Hillside HVAC welcomes you to the county fair at the Fair Hill Fairgrounds in Elkton, Maryland! While Charlie the Dog is keeping watch over things for us at the office, we will be giving away some awesome prizes. On Friday, July 31, we will give away 100 gallons of home heating oil and an air conditioning tune-up, and on Saturday, August 1, we will give away up to 200 gallons of heating oil and an air conditioning tune-up. From heating to air conditioning, we’ve got you covered!
Stop by the Hillside HVAC booth any day during the fair and participate in a guessing game to win candy and $20 for the kids. The winner will be called at the end of the fair, so you don’t need to be present to win. The Hillside HVAC booth will have tons of other goodies to give away, too, including balsa wood planes for the kids, Charlie the Dog dolls, pens and notebooks, just as our thanks for stopping by Hillside HVAC booth at the fair.

The amazing Cecil County Fair is just around the corner. At the Fair Hill Fairgrounds from July 18-26 is where all the fun will be happening. A great time for the entire family. If you want to ride rides, grease pigs, watch smash-up derbies, or eat junk food until it hurts, the Cecil County Fair has something for everyone. Hillside has had a booth every year for over 30 years at the Fair. Stop by and say hello. We have free propaganda for kids and adults, giveaways for free heating oil and central air conditioner tune-ups, and a guessing game for kids to win candy and $20 cash! The Cecil County Fair is always full of surprises. Come out for an evening and please don’t forget to come by and say hello to us at the Hillside booth. Charlie the Dog wishes he could be there, but he tries to follow the rules (most of the time).

Congratulations to Becca for winning the giant container of candy, $20, and an upcoming dentist appointment! Becca showed up yesterday to pick up her treasures, pose for pictures, and answer questions from the paparazzi. Unfortunately Charlie the Dog took the day off work and was not available for the photo shoot. Becca and everyone I know had a great time at the Cecil County Fair last week. If you did not make it, put the fair on the calendar for next year. One last time, thank you to everyone that stopped by to say hello.

Well, the Cecil County Fair is over and everybody I know had a great time. The weather held out better than most recent years. We had a few lucky winners. Sandy & Barry H from Elk Mills were the winner of 100 gallons on Friday night, they are longtime Hillside customers. Valery P from Rising Sun was the big 200-gallon winner on Saturday night. I think the one everyone is waiting for is the winner of the candy guessing game. 8-year-old Becca from Fair Hill guessed the candies within 3 pieces! She wins the entire jar of candy and $20!
Thank you to everyone that stopped by and said hello. Special thank you to all the new customers from Wilson Fuel that came by and introduced themselves. It is always a pleasure to see old friends and make new ones.

The Cecil County Fair starts tonight! The Fair runs from tonight through next Saturday 7/27. Come out with the family and enjoy yourselves. It may be hot outside, but being outdoors in the carnival atmosphere, walking the midway, riding the rides, eating cotton candy, watching rodeos and smash up derbies, and enjoying the once a year festivities are great ways to take your mind off the sweltering heat.
